Swedish Kleinger

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 T. water

Mix like pie crust and press into a cookie sheet.

1c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1/2 t. almond extract

Put water and butter in a sauce pan, heat to boiling. Take off heat and add flour all at once, stir until smooth. COOL. Beat in eggs one at a time add almond extract at any time. Spread on first mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Cool and frost... recipe follows.


Frosting

1 c. powdered sugar
1 T. butter
1 t. almond extract
Add enough cream to make a spreadable mixture
Add food coloring if desired
