Makes 24 bars
Melt the chocolate by microwaving the chips in a bowl until smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.1 | cup packed light brown sugar |
1 | cup light corn syrup |
1 | cup peanut butter |
1 | cup salted dry-roasted peanuts , chopped |
6 | cups cornflakes |
1 | cup semisweet chocolate chips , melted (see note) |
2. Scrape mixture into prepared pan and press into bottom and corners with greased spatula. Drizzle melted chocolate over top and spread to cover. Let cool completely, about 30 minutes. Slice and serve. (Bars can be stored in airtight container for 2 days.)
