Make-Ahead Note: After the chicken tenders are skewered and brushed with hoisin sauce (do not sprinkle with sesame seeds), they can be refrigerated, tightly wrapped, for up to 1 day. 1 | pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts , cut into 2-inch pieces |
1/4 | cup soy sauce |
2 | tablespoons grated fresh ginger |
2 | cloves garlic , minced |
1/4 | cup hoisin sauce |
1/4 | cup sesame seeds |
4 | scallions , chopped fine |
2. Thread chicken onto wooden skewers, brush with hoisin sauce, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place on baking sheet and cover exposed skewer ends with foil to keep from burning. Bake until chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with scallions and serve.
